Getting your data out
Download everything you have in Allotmin as a spreadsheet, whenever you like.
Everything you put into Allotmin, you can take out again, at any time, without asking us.
The whole account
Settings → Your data → Export all my data.
You get a single spreadsheet workbook with a sheet per thing — members, plots, tenancies, billing years, invoices, charges, concessions, correspondence, inspections, deposits, waiting list, groups, settings, and the rest. There is a read-me sheet at the front explaining what each one is.
A few things worth knowing:
- It covers your whole account, including every site, not just the one you are currently looking at.
- Every sheet has both the ID and the human-readable name alongside — the member's name as well as their number — so the file is readable by a person and still usable if you ever want to load it into something else.
- Money is a real number with a currency format, so it adds up in Excel rather than sitting there as text.
- The files in your document library are not inside the workbook, only a list of them. Download those from the Documents page.
It works in the demo too, since it changes nothing.
Just the billing history
If it is only the money you are after, Billing has a CSV export of your billing history, which is a smaller and simpler file.
If you decide to leave
Take an export first. Then tell us, and we will close the account. You can also ask us to delete it permanently.
There is no lock-in here and nothing to cancel — nothing is ever charged without an invoice arriving first.
